We took the plunge one year ago today! To celebrate, last night James made a delicious gourmet meal using his Thomas Keller cookbooks: butter-poached lobster tail and filet mignon with clarified butter and Bearnaise sauce, plus Brussels sprouts and fancy little beet and potato crisps (Pommes Maxim!), paired with a vintage cab he’d been saving for the occasion.
Of course, the mean wouldn’t have been complete without a dessert of year-old freezer burned wedding cake!
