James discovered a fish market down the street from us that mostly supplies local restaurants, but you don’t have to have a license to buy from them. They close early, so Saturday is pretty much the only day we’ll be able to make it there. James reports that the owner gave him over a pound of halibut and told him to just give him a tenner. It was extremely fresh and delicious, enjoyed out on the back deck and paired with carrots and leftover mushroom risotto, and a savignon blanc from Niner winery (from our trip last weekend).Looking forward to making summertime alfresco seafood dinner Saturdays a regular occurrence!
