Coq au Riesling

I caught an episode of Nigella on the Cooking Network called Weeknight Wonders, and this is exactly what this recipe prooved to be. I basically sautéed the leeks and bacon for a few minutes in a big pot and then dumped in the chicken, bay leaves, and wine and let it all cook up for 45 minutes while I did a workout in the living room (thank you to free on demand programming). James was kind enough to finish up the meal by cooking up the Pappardelle-style egg noodles, which Nigella did not specify by name, but of course James IDed them immediately with one look.

It came out really yummy! Good for a chilly night. And almost as easy as she made it look. 😉

My one regret is that I TOTALLY FORGOT TO ADD THE FRESH DILL I BOUGHT JUST FOR THIS! Grrrrr.
